Partnerships for the Goals
My work is an important part of my life. I want it to be meaningful. To me, it means that in some way my work should contribute to a more honest, beautiful, safer and healthier world. Fortunately, I’m not the only one;-). I meet a lot of inspiring people while cooperating on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s).
The journey versus the destination
Nothing is ever finished. Therefore, the quality of the tour may be more important than the final destination. The same applies to relationships: when they last, you both can achieve more.
My confidence in the possibilities of people is enormous. I see myself and others as 'on the road' and 'full of good intentions,' but 'unfortunately with limitations.' Mistakes are made on the way, and sometimes people get into crisis or conflict. Judging does not provide insights. I have learned that investigating is more helpful: what are patterns to break and how can I act upon that myself?.
